In a unexpected partnership that breaks traditional predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Revealed

According to the official release, "A strange confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of banned ceremonies and fearsome changes resonate through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret sect.

The mission concentrates on "peculiar tests and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Metamorphoses

The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a striking moment showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
